Have been here twice since it has been taken over by new owners. Staff are very friendly and food is good. The breakfast is amazing value for money and the roast dinner was good too! Family friendly and noticed a dog or two so will pop in after a dog walk one day! Nice local pub

We had a small family and friends 18th birthday party in the restaurant part of the pub last night for my son. We hired the room and organised a buffet with the pub. WOW. The food was amazing, and so much of it. Everyone commented on it. The staff and the owner were amazing. They checked in on us regularly and even asked what music we would like played. We felt like part of the owners family and they couldn’t have made my son’s birthday more special. We decorated it ourselves but being respectful of the gorgeous new renovation. Really was ideal for us and we’ll definately be back x

We live locally but don’t often go to the William Bourne, after seeing it was under independent ownership we went back and what great improvements! Better wine selection, lovely menu & great food! The staff were all wonderful and it was so nice to have so many staff working so you were served quickly and efficiently! We will be back!

We have literally walked through our front door after being at The William Bourne for lunch. We live right round the corner and have never been before. Our lunch did not disappoint. Staff were friendly. Service was good. We ordered the BBQ Mac burger, chicken gougon and cheese melt baguette, onion rings and cheesy garlic bread, with fries. Portion size was reasonable and well priced. The BBQ Mac Burger was a winner!! The beer garden is lovely especially in the Autumn sunshine and we will definitely come back!! Came in earlier today with my daughter to have lunch with other family members and the staff were fantastic. Despite some of my group moaning because they did not bother to read the menu properly, the staff on duty handled the situation alot more positively than I would of. My daughter and I enjoyed the food and drinks and will visit again ☺️

Lovely quiet area without television which was away from the rest of the bar. We came for a late lunch at 1530 in afternoon. Really lovely staff even the chef came out and asked about the meal we had! Very impressed. I had a Hunters Chicken with Cranberries off their Christmas menu, very good.
